Abstract: To evaluate the adaptability of silage corn planting in eastern Inner Mongolia,Xianyu 335 was taken as a control variety, and 10 silage corn varieties were tested in Arun Banner. The results showed that the fresh yields of Danyu 402,Beinong Silage 3740,Jingke silage 301 and Dongyu 120 were all higher than that of the control. However,Danyu 402 and Dongyu 120 did not form a milk line when harvested, and they were prone to lodging.Jingke Silage 301 was 291.8 centimeters high and had a high empty rod rate which exceeded 10%,so it was not suitable for this region.Beinong Silage 3740 has good performance in terms of growth period, yield, resistance and agronomic traits,so it can be promoted preferentially.
