Abstract: As a new feed,Setaria italica has more and more concern and attentions.With the development of animal husbandry, livestock improvement process to accelerate, and increasing of livestocks, which has caused a serious lack of feed and high requirements on the feed nutrition.On this basis,we have a widespread investigation of Setaria italica into Chifeng.We conducted screening tests of new varieties of Setaria italica since 2009,and then the further development of Setaria italica in Chifeng was discussed.
