摘要： 生境选择研究是野生动物研究中的一个重要内容，地理信息系统（GIS）技术的产生为野生动物生境选择研究提供了广阔空间。笔者简要介绍了GIS的主要功能和数据管理方式，对GIS在野生动物生境选择研究中的主要应用进行了综述．并对其发展趋势做了预测.

Abstract: The habitat selection research was an important matter in wildlife study, the production of GIS technology provided wide space for the wildlife habitat selection research. The main function and data management modes of GIS were briefly introduced in this paper;, the major application of GIS in the wildlife habitat selection research was summarized and its development trend was predicted.
