Abstract: The higher air temperature and less and uneven distribution precipitation in Chifeng of Inner Mongolia from December2014 to middle February 2015 had an adverse effect on the normal animal husbandry production in local pasturing area. Based on the analysis of returning green stage of herbage in natural grassland and prophase climatic conditions, the returning green stage of herbage in natural grassland in Chifeng was forecast. The results showed that the returning green stage of herbage in natural grassland in Chifeng in 2015 would emerged from late April to early May, which would be 3-6 d earlier than former years.
