Abstract: As a newly set first-level discipline of undergraduate education,pratacultural science develops rapidly within recent years. It is very important to cultivate talents who are simultaneously skilled at professional knowledge and foreign languages.Although professional English course is important for students to understand the status and development of pratacultural science in other countries and to expend international communication,college students do not put sufficient emphasis on it due to the lack of necessary teaching methods and teaching content. In view of the existing problems in teaching of professional English of pratacultural science,some suggestions such as improving teaching methods and widening extra-curricular teaching are proposed,so as to improve the teaching effects of this course and promote the cultivation of compound talents in pratacultural science.
