Abstract: Jianshui County of Hani-Yi Autonomous Prefecture of Honghe is located in the karst area with low latitude and high altitude and is one of the experimental areas for sustainable development of China＇s 13th Five-Year Plan. In recent years, the animal husbandry based on grass planting and sheep raising has developed rapidly and become an effective way for farmers to increase their income. However, in the process of development, the problems such as reduced land use efficiency and decreased breeding efficiency are becoming increasingly prominent. Therefore, in order to improve the efficiency and to promote the development of ecological animal husbandry, a modern and high-efficiency agricultural demonstration park aiming to develop the dairy goat breeding industry based on grass production was built in Wulichong of Miandian Town of Jianshui County. The construction of the park has significance for protecting the ecological environment and elevating the economic income of farmers in this region, and provides technical and theoretical guidance for promoting the technology of livestock breeding combining with grass production.
