Abstract: Teaching of specialized English is important for pratacuhural science major students to improve their ability of utilizing English. The appropriate teaching ideas were designed based on the current situation of specialized English teaching for pratacultural science major and the characteristics of the discipline and a variety of teaching methods were explored, so as to change the teaching mode and stimulate the students＇ study motivation as well as improve the English application competence of pratacuhural science major students.
