Abstract: Grass seed is the basic production material of grass-based animal husbandry and its quality has a direct impact on the development of modern animal husbandry economy and the effect of ecological environment protection. The quality of 255 grass seed samples in Guizhou Province from 2015 to 2017 was evaluated. The results showed that the qualified rate was 54.9%, while34.1% of the samples were unqualified in moisture. Great attention should be paid to the quality of grass seed in this region and the regulation of the grass seed market should be strengthened, which is helpful to the healthy development of grass-based animal husbandry.
