Abstract: According to the epidemiological data from the sample survey results on the large, medium and small-scale pig farms in south area of Hebei Province, we had defined the major epidemic diseases in large-scale pig farms, summarized their epidemiological features and rules, and established practicable prevention and control measures. Considering the problems that excessively seeking of output and ignoring the feed management and environmental control, we put forward a integrated disease prevention model for large-scale pig farms, aiming at constructing a health green pig breeding base that combines disease control with breeding management and environmental management.
