Abstract: The positive psychology emphasizes the people＇ s enthusiasm. The basic concept of positive psychology should be grasped in universities and colleges. The positive psychology should be introduced in the entrance education of college freshmen, so as to enhance the effectiveness of entrance education in universities and colleges. The basic concept of positive psychology and its significance for the entrance education of college freshmen were introduced. And some measures for promoting the entrance education of college freshmen by using positive psychology were proposed.
