Abstract: Application-oriented university shoulders the important task of cultivating advanced applied talents. According to the training objectives of applied talents, combined with the revising work of the personnel training program （2015 version） in Anhui Science and Technology University, the A nimcd Toxicology program outline for 2015 grade undergraduates majoring in veterinary medicine as well as animal and plant quarantine is amended to improve the proportion of experimental courses and to adjust the teaching methods. It is proved that the reform of teaching content and teaching methods is conducive to cultivating advanced applied talents with high comprehensive quality, strong practical ability and a strong sense of innovation.
