Abstract: The habitat selection research was an important matter in wildlife study, the production of GIS technology provided wide space for the wildlife habitat selection research. The main function and data management modes of GIS were briefly introduced in this paper;, the major application of GIS in the wildlife habitat selection research was summarized and its development trend was predicted.
