Abstract: With the development of social economy and the increase of personal income, people＇s food consumption structure is changing considerably. The whole trend is that the consumption of food ration is declining, that of animal husbandry is increasing. Based on food and changes of consumption structure, the problems in husbandry were anaylsed and probed combinated with the utilization of natural resource and the developing situation of animal husbandry in Hubei in the paper, and the strategies were put forward to provide guiding advice to practical production.
