Advance on Epidemiology of Hepatitis E

Abstract: Hepatitis E was caused by Hepatitis E virus possessing the similar symptom with Hepatitis A. Nowadays, five gene types were found with distribution of regionalism, mainly in developing countries among Asia, Africa and Central America. HEV is transmitted via the faecal-oral route and close to human being and animals, can do damage to human being and animals. In the article, the brief review on its epidemiology was made to provide reference for prevention of it.
