Abstract: [Objective] Pathogens were isolated and identified from ill quails, and the drug sensitivity test also was carried out. [Method] The pathogenic bacteria were isolated from the liver and heart of diseased quails and incubated with the selective medium, then the identification was made by biochemical reaction, inoculating mouse and drug sensitivity test. [Result] The result showed that the disease of quails was caused by E. coli and Salmonella, and the isolated E. call was sensitive to gentamycin, Ceftazidime and Neomycin, but Salmonella was sensitive to Ceftazidime, Neomycin and Roceph in Drug sensitivity test. [Conclusion] It could offer the scientific reference for large scale quail farms to use drugs in clinic.
