Abstract: Fly maggots, housefly （Musca domestica） larvae, are widely distributed in China. Housefly larvae have high value in use and good ecological benefit. They are easily fed and require low cost. They can be used to produce high-protein food, feed, health products and other biological products. The paper introduces development and utilization of housefly larvae.
