Abstract: The pregnancy rate of frozen semen is easily affected by various factors, such as higher acrosome abnormity rate. The phospholipids and cholesterol in semen might exchange with phospholipids and cholesterol in the diluent, which would decrease the content of cholesterol in the semen and advance the semen capacitation and lead to acrosome reaction. The changes of phospholipid and cholesterol contents during the semen freezing process of goat were systemically analyzed.
