Abstract: There are 2 kinds of Notopterygium plant in Haibei State, Qinghai Province. It has high medicinal value, and helps the local herdsman to implement intensive management, to get rid of poverty and become rich. It will have a great effect on ecological, social and economic benefits of improvement of ecological environment around Lake Qinghai area and can also increase farmer＇ s income. Morphological characteristics, biological characteristics, cultivation technique and pharmacological functions of the two kinds of Notopterygium plant were introduced in the paper.
