  • Effect of Different Weaning Diets on Expression Pattern of Hypocreins Receptor 2 in Intestine for Weanling Piglets

    To investigate the impact of different weanling diets on expression pattern of Hypocreins Receptor 2 (HCRTR2) in intestine for weanlingpiglets,real-time quantitative reverse transcription PCR (RT-qPCR) was carried out to quantify HCRTR2 expression at age of 0,3,7 and 14 days in weanling piglets fed with the diets 30% milk protein substituted the whole protein (treatment 1 ) and the vegetable protein (treatment 2).RT-qPCR result showed that HCRTR2 expressed in postnatal intestine of piglets during weanling. In the treatment 1,the expression level increased on day 3,7,14 compared with day 0 with 4.30,6.60 and 4.12 times higher respectively and expression on day 7 being highest.In the treatment 2,the expression level increased 1.44 and 4.50 times on day 7,14 while it decreased 0.71 times on day 3 compared with day 0. In conclusion,the different protein diets affect the expression pattern of Hypocreins Receptor 2 in intestine for weanling piglet.
    Determination on the Composition of Fatty Acid in Animal Meat by Gas Chromatography

    The contents of serious fatty acids in muscles of cashmere goats were determined by using external standard method with GC- 2014 gas chromatography and SP-2560 capillary gas chromatographic column. Results showed that the method was simple and fast; the long-chain fatty acids more than the 10^th carbon had a good linear range, and the correlation coefficient was more than 0.999 1; the recoveries was 88.29%-96.21%, and the relative standard deviation was less 5%.

    Aloe is a kind of age-old natural traditional Chinese medicine materials. It is safe, effective and easily-used and more attentions had been paid to aloe. Aloe is a kind of perennial evergreen succulent herbage of Liliaceae. Its main components were anthraquinone compounds, saccharide, amino acids, trace elements, organic acids, enzymes, saponin, lignin and plant hormone and so on. And its main functions were to regulate the physiological functions, promote the metabolism and enhance the immunity and have the roles of antidiarrheal, preventing constipation, diminishing inflammation and antibacterial action, reducing the blood pressure and blood sugar. The components, physiological functions and main efficacy of aloe were introduced.
    Effects of Acetyl-CoA Carboxylase Inhibitor on the Obesity Mice

    [ Objective ] The research aimed to investigate the effect of the Acetyl-CoA carboxylase inhibitor on the obesity degree of obesity mice. [Method] The obesity animal model was established and mice were randomly divided. Mice in test group was fed with Acetyl-CoA carboxylase inhibitor with the dose of 50 mg/(kg, bw-d)by intragastric administration and mice in control group was treated with deionized water by intragastric administration. The changes of the feed intake and drinking amount of mice in the administration process were recorded. Mice were anatomize after administration three weeks.The body weight and body length were determined, and Lee's index was calculated. The fat was weighed and the proportion of the fat around the sexual organs in the body weight of mice was calculated. The relative contention of cholesterol and triglyceride in the serum was measured. [ Result ] Acetyl-CoA carboxylase inhibitor could inhibit the weight increase of mice, reduce the obese degree of obesity mice and decrease the contents of triglyceride and cholesterol in the serum of obesity mice. [ Conclusion ] Acetyl-CoA carboxylase inhibitor had the slimming action on obesity mice, but it had no obvious effect on the normal diet of obesity mice.
    Effects of Regulated Feed on Milk Production and Milk Composition of Dairy Cows

    To study the effects of regulated feed on milk production and milk composition of dairy cows, 10 dairy cows with the same age ,fetal times, milking days and milk production were selected and divided into two groups in accordance with the paired experimental design. The dairy cows in control group were fed with the basal diet and that in test group was fed with the basal diet added with the regulated feed. The results showed that the daily milk yield of each dairy cow in test group increased 1.366 kg than that in control group (P〈0.05) and the contents of milk protein, milk fat, lactose, dry matter in dairy cows in test group had no significant difference with that in control group. Through the contrast before and after the test, it was seen that regulated feed significantly improved milk production of dairy cows.

    Iron is one of the essential trace elements for the life activities of human and animals. It participates in the biosynthesis and metabolism of hemoglobin,myoglobin and many kinds of oxidases and it is closely related with enhancing the organism immunity, increasing animal' s reproductivity and growth indicators . As a kind of high-quality organic iron source, iron amino acid chelate was paid attentions to because of its advantages (high absorption rate, high biological efficiency and little pollution to the environment and so on). The absorption and metabolism in vivo, physiological functions of iron amino acid chelate and its applications in the practice were elaborated, in order to provide references for the related researches.

    The inhibitory activities of essential oil products like XTRACTTM and RO on Escherichia coli were studied, and the effects of them on raising-use microencapsulation of lactic acid bacteria were studied. The microencapsulation of lactic acid bacteria and Escherichia coli were cultivated under adaptive cultivating conditions, and then differences between the group of adding essential oil and the contrast group were measured so as to study the effects of essential oil products on raising-use microencapsulation of lactic acid bacteria and the inhibitory activities against Escherichia coli. Results showed that essential oil products within certain added concentration could be used together with the raising-use microencapsulation of lactic acid bacteria, furthermore essential oil products had good inhibitory activities against Escherichia coll.

    Graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry is used to detect molybdenum in poultry forage with pre-drying and wet- acidolysis method, and aseorbic acid was usecl as matrix modifier. Molybdenum detecting in poultry forage is done based on studying the priory experimental conditions by comparing many kinds of different atomization temperature and ashing temperature. The recovery of detected elements from samples varied from 92.0% to 106.0% and RSD was 1.78%. The method was rapid, accurate, sensitive and simple. The obtained results agreed well.

    Leptin is the expression product of obese gene (ob gene). Leptin is secreted by adipocytes and combined with hypothalamic leptin receptor so as to inhibit appetite centers and decrease food intake, furthermore it could improve lipolysis and increase heat production by exciting nervous system so as to decrease body weight and increase lean meat percentage. The biological function of leptin and the regulatory effect on fat deposition were summarized in order to provide theoretical basis for regulating the quality of livestock and poultry meat and producing high-quality livestock and poultry products.
    Effects of Concentrated Nutritional Agents on the Production Performance of Laying Hens

    The action effect of concentrated nutritional agents on the production performance of laying hens was determined by adding feed with concentrated nutritional agents. Results showed that after concentrated nutritional agents were added into drinking water of egg farm for one week, the egg production of laying hens was increased by 5%-10% averagely; the antiviral ability of laying hens was also improved by concentrated nutritional agents; the quality of egg was significantly improved by concentrated nutritional agents, while the number of broken eggs and soft-shelled eggs were significantly decreased.

    Melamine ( MA ) is a stable chemical, inactive in vivo metabolism; expelled out body though urine with original molecule form or its analogs. F344 rat's plasma elimination half-life 2.7 h, and renal clearance was 2.5 mL/min. MA categorized into low-toxic or non- toxic according to international chemical acute toxicity classification, for its LD50 is 4 550 mg/(kg-bw) in mice. No irritation to eyes of rabbits, guinea pigs and people. Toxicity of MA can be enhanced while accompanied with eyanuric acid for crystal can be formed, and kidney and bladder are targets. Few literatures were found on MA carcinogenicity studies, and the results were inconsistent. IARC says MA is a possible carcinogen for animals, while no evidence was found that MA is carcinogen to human beings. In general, MA is low potential risk material to environment and people.

    The using condition of codons of chromosome 7 in chicken which code 21 amino acids was studied. Results showed that codons whose number of synonymous codnns was two or three all tended to use one kind of codons except the codons coding TER amino acid, while codons whose number of synonymous codons was four or six tended to use two or three kinds of codons. So it is concluded that among 59 kinds of synonymous codons in chicken, 27 synonymous codons like UUC, CUC, ACG and GUG, etc. were the optimum codons which were all ended by C or G. Thereby, the use of the optimum codons is closely related to the 3^rd base composition.

    In order to study the relationship between cows hoof disease and milk yield, 15-day daily mean milk yield of 15 infected cows from some national dairy farm in Ningxia Province were investigated, meanwhile through five healthy cows were taken as control, the effects of hoof disease on cows' milk yield were compared. Then, the 15 infected cows were carried out specific treatment, after that the daily mean milk yield of 15 infected cows was determined every five days, continuously for six times, and the change law of milk yield was analyzed finally. Results showed that hoof disease could cause a disease of milk yield, furthermore the more serious hoof disease was, the less milk yield of cow was; after treatment, the daily mean milk yield of 15 infected cows with different degrees of hoof disease were improved.

    The research aimed to prepare the highly-immunized yolk antibody of porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome(PRRS) and study its treatment effect. Laying hens were immunized with NVDC-JXA1 strain of inactivated vaccine of highly pathogenic PRRS virus and highly-immunized eggs were collected. The highly-immunized yolk antibody of PRRS was prepared by water dilution and extraction method and aseptic examination, security detection, effectiveness detection and animal protection test were conducted. And it was applied in the clinic practice to observe the treatment effect. The results showed that the agar diffusion titer of the highly-immunized yolk antibody of PRRS prepared by this method reached 1:32, the protection rate reached 100% and the cure rate in the clinic test was 84.5%. The research indicated that the preparation of specific yolk antibody of PRRS was simple and cheap and it could be used in the clinic treatment of PRRS.

    Bovine tuberculosis (TB) is a zoonotic chronic infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis in cattle,and the epidemic has been taking advantage of the spread in recent years, so it not only has caused significant economic losses to China' s aquaculture industry, but also has affected the public health and safety. The epidemiology, etiology, pathogenesis, diagnostics and integrated control of bovine tuberculosis were reviewed in order to provide reference for related studies.

    Effect of Goat Itch Mite Disease on Antioxidant System

    In order to study the effect of goat itch mite disease to the body oxygen free radicals and antioxidant system, activities of GSH- Px, T-SOD and CAT as well as contents of MDA and LPO of healthy goats and infection goats were determined, respectively. Results showed that the activities of GSH-Px and T-SOD in serum of infection goats was significantly lower than control group (P〈0.01), while there was no significant difference in the activity of CAT; the content of MDA of infection goats was significantly higher than control group (P〈0.05), and the content of LPO of infection goats was also significantly higher than control group (P〈0.01). It is suggested that the contents of oxygen free radicals and lipid peroxide in body increase after goat is infected by itch mite disease, while the activities of antioxidant enzymes decrease.
