Abstract: In order to analyze the occurrence regularity of chronic renal failure of dog, 30 cases of dog chronic renal failure were collected from some pet hospitals in Hohhot, and the species, age, sex, occurrence time, food habits, biochemical parameters of blood and imaging examination were investigated. Results showed that hybrid dogs accounted for 37% of total cases, which was further higher than other species. The disease dogs were 2-13 years old, and the average age was 7.53; they were mainly 7-9 years old, which accounted for 53% of total disease dogs, among them 17 cases were male dogs which accounted for 57.0%, and 13 cases were female dogs which accounted for 43.0%. The occurrence time was dominant by spring and summer. The disease dogs were mainly fed with prepared-self food which was meat mostly. The disease dogs all had different degrees of anemia, and their urea nitrogen, creatinine and phosphorus increased, while Na and K decreased totally. The imaging examination result showed that the kidney of disease dog became bigger or smaller or was still normal, and the echo of kidney tissue increased.
