Abstract: In order to select and breed fine varieties of Trifolium strains, the seed color, seed size, thousand seed weight, germination rate and seedling emergence of Trifolium ambiguum Bieb., Trifolium repens L. and their ten F1 strains were compared and analyzed in this study. The results showed that significant differences were observed in all of the tested index of the among all tested materials (P〈0.05). The seed characteristics of ten F1 strain were similar to those of female parent Trifolium ambiguum Bieb., and had great differences with those of male parent Trifolium repens L..
