Abstract: In present study, the anthelminthic effect and growth promoting effect of a commercial product of traditional Mongolian veterinary medicine feed additive "Yanglele" on sheep were investigated. The results revealed that when the basal diet of the fatting lamb was added with "Yanglele" with the dosage of 15 g/d, the optimum anthelminthic effect and growth promoting effect were observed. Adding "Yanglele" with the dosage of 25 g/d in basal diet was able to effectively control the severe parasitic infection of draft ewe. The growth promoting effect of the sheep fed with "Yanglele" was superior to that of sheep administrated with "Yikesai" injection.
