Abstract: Based on the research progress on selenium and VE at home and abroad, their effects on reproductive performance of dairy cows were analyzed. In view of the current status and existing problems in dietary supplementation of selenium and VE in dairy cow breeding in China, protocols on dietary supplementation of selenium and VE were suggested in this paper, so as to provide references for the scientific and rational application of them in practice for dairy farms and raising households and for improving the reproductive performance of dairy cows and the economic benefit of breeding.
