Research Progress on Pathogenic Escherichia coli from Avian Origin

Abstract: Avian colibacillosis is a primary or secondary disease caused by infection of Escherichia coli with certain pathogenic serotypes. The clinical symptoms involved in this disease include airsacculitis, peritonitis, acute septicemia and hemorrhagic enteritis, etc. The research progress on pathogenic Escherichia coli from avian origin was reviewed on the aspects of harm,antimicrobial resistance, preparation and employment of specific antibody.
