Abstract: The polymorphism of c.C565G mutation site in second exon of adiponectin gene （NC_006096） from 67 Wuding Chicken was assessed by PCR-RFLP. Single enzyme digestion of the PCR products was performed with restriction enzyme of Mva I. The results revealed that 3 genetypes （AA, AB and BB） were found in the locus. The population genetics characteristics were analyzed by Chi-square （X^2） fitness test and the results demonstrated that the locus of c.C565G was under equilibrium condition.
