Abstract: Astragalus melilotoides cv. ordos was bred with seeds of wild Astragalus melilotoides collected from Ejin Horo Banner,Erdos City, Inner Mongolia, and it was examined and approved by the National Grass Variety Approval Committee and was registered as a wild cultivar in 2010. In this paper, the botanical characteristics, biological characteristics, feeding value,cultivation techniques and problems in ecological construction of A. melilotoides cv. ordos were summarized to lay a scientific foundation for the research and popularization of this variety.
