Abstract: As a safe and effective feed additive, Bacillus lieheniformis can effectively promote the growth of beneficial microorganisms in animal intestines, improve body immune function, reduce incidence of diseases, and regulate animal micro- ecological balance. In recent years, it has been widely used in feed industry. We expound the biological characteristics of Bacillus licheniformis and its action mechanism, application status and existing problems in animal production.
