Inhibitory Effect and Mechanism of Plant-derived Saponins on Animal Inflammation and Its Feasibility in Production of Livestock and Poultry

Abstract: Saponins are glycosides with anti-inflammation and other pharmacological effects. They are found in many plants, such as ginseng. This paper provides an overview of the inhibitory effect of plant-derived saponins on animal inflammation and its underlining mechanism, and the feasibility of their application in production of livestock and poultry is also discussed, in hoping to provide references for their further development and utilization.
