The Pathogenesis and Prevention of Calf Viral Diarrhea

Abstract: Calf diarrhea is one of the most common diseases that seriously endanger the growth of calves. It may lead to the death or dysplasia of calves if not treated on time and causes huge economic losses to dairy farming industry. Clinically, non-infectious and infectious factors are the two factors mainly attributed to the calf diarrhea. Infectious factors mainly include bacterial infections, viral infections and parasitic infections. This paper mainly focuses on the pathogenesis, prevention and control measures of calf diarrhea that caused by viral infection, in hoping to provide theoretical basis for the healthy development of dairy farming.
