Abstract: Canine parvovirus disease causes severe diarrhea and even hematochezia of young dog and always induces intussusception. The clinical signs of intussusception, including deprementia, loss of appetite and vomit are similar to those of canine parvovirus disease. The misdiagnosis between canine parvovirus disease and intussusception is commonly occurred in clinic, which causes futile treatment and delay of optimal time for treatment. A case of secondary intestinal obstruction induced by parvovirus disease in young canine was diagnosed by combining use of X-ray and B-ultrasound. When the confirmed diagnosis of intussusception was made, surgical treatment was immediately performed in the diseases dog. Seven days after the surgical treatment, the surgical incision had no infections and healed well. The diagnosis and treatment process of this clinical case was introduced, in hoping to provide references for the diagnosis and treatment of intussusception in young dog in veterinary clinic.
