Abstract: Bone growth and development is very important for animals. Its normal growth mainly maintains the dynamic balance of bone through the bone formation of osteoblasts and bone resorption of osteoclasts. Morinda officinalis, as a kind of traditional Chinese medicine, not only plays an important role in anti-aging and immunity enhancing, but also is particularly prominent in tonifying kidney and strengthening bones and muscles. This article reviews how Morinda officinalis influences the growth and development of bone at cell level and animal level, in hoping to provide theoretical basis for the application of Morinda officinalis as an oral additive in improving the growth of animal bone.
