Diagnosis and Treatment of Two Clinical Cases of Canine Babesiosis in a Pet Clinic in Zhengzhou of Henan Province

Abstract: Canine babesiosis is a commonly observed blood parasitic disease which is transmitted by hard ticks. Clinically, it occurs frequently in spring and summer, and the diseased dogs are clinically characterized by high fever, jaundice, redness of urine, severe anemia, emaciation and mental retardation. In this study, two clinical cases of canine babesiosis in a pet hospital in Zhengzhou of Henan Province were selected, and the diagnosis and treatment methods were summarized.
