Abstract: In order to assess the effects of different decomposing inoculants on the aerobic composting process, the physical properties of composting product of beef cattle manure treated with different decomposing inoculants were compared and analyzed. The results showed that the addition of decomposing inoculants to composting materials accelerated the speed of composting, increased water loss rate and degradation rate of organic matter, speeded up the process of manure decomposing, and shortened the composting cycle. The self-developed decomposing inoculants had the similar effects with the commercially available decomposing inoculants. The developed decomposing inoculants has the effect of accelerating the composting of beef cattle manure.
