Abstract: The circadian clock is ubiquitous in the biological world and can synchronize the rhythm of the organism itself with that of the environment, which regulates the body′s life activities and physiological functions. The action mechanisms, physiological functions and influencing factors of the circadian clock are reviewed, in hoping to provide references for further study of circadian rhythms.
