Abstract: As one of the common poultry disease, pullorum disease is caused by Salmonella and does great loss to poultry industry. Different varieties all were easy to be infected, the morbidity and mortality rate among 2 - 3-week-old chicks are the highest, and it can do serious damage to adult chicken＇s reproductive system resulting in decrease of egg laying and rooster sexual dysfunction. The whole blood plate agglutination test was taken to detect its antibody titer of 200 roosters at X chicken field of Helan County in Ningxia Province.＇ The result showed that there were 11 positive of them, and the morbidity rate was 5.5 %.
