Abstract: Leptin is a metabolism regulator secreted by fat cells, it can combine the leptin receptor on the target cell membranes （Lep- Rb ）, and its biological function is educed by the relevant signal transduction .system. Leptin can inhibit the deposition of fat and promote fat hyhrolysis. In the article, the regulation on animal body fat deposition is reviewed.
