Abstract: To survey toxoplasma infection and drug treatment in dogs in Hohhot,toxoplasma antibodies of 307 dogs were detected by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay （ELISA）.The toxoplasma-positive dogs were treated with Chinese and Western drugs.The ELISA positive rate of toxoplasma antibody （IgM） in the dogs was 4.6%,and the good efficacy was achieved by drug treatment.In addition,toxoplasma infection rates were significantly different between the dogs from different places.Therefore,it is necessary to strengthen the management of scattered-feeding or deserted dogs,and the serological monitor should be strengthened for timely and effective preventive measures.
