Abstract: Six species of Bromus inermis Leyss. from different sources were introduced. The results showed that the overwintering rate of six species in western region of Heilongjiang Province were more than 93% and the growth period was 102-106 d. These six species were suitable for planting in western region of Heilongjiang Province. Among them, Bromus inermis Leyss. cv. Gongnong, Bromus inerm/s Leyss. cv. Neimeng and Bromuz inermis Leyss. cv. Bolan had better production performances than other species and these three species were worthy to be popularized in western region of Heilongjiang Province.
