Abstract: In order to meet the requirement of production of "green" animal-derived food on the veterinary medicine product, and to increase the efficacy of traditional Mongolian veterinary medicine, the traditional Mongolian veterinary medicine " Quehongxiehuosan", developed by research group of Traditional Chinese and Mongolian Veterinary Medicine in Institute of Veterinary Medicine of Inner Mongolia Academy of Agricultural and Animal Husbandry Sciences for prevention and treatment of sheep parasitosis, was subjected to micron processing. Furthermore, its clinical efficacy was determined. The results showed that compared with the conventional formulation, the efficacy of micron-sized "Quehongxiehuosan" was obviously increased. The 20 g of micron-sized "Quchongxiehuosan" showed the equivalent efficacy as 40 g of conventional formulation. Meanwhile, 40 g of micron-sized "Quchongxiehuosan" showed the equivalent efficacy as chemical anthelmintic drug "Yikesai". No side effect during the clinical trial was observed. Moreover, the gaining effect of the micron-sized "Quehongxiehuosan" was superior to that of "Yikesai".
