Abstract: The incidence of zoonotic fungal diseases has significantly increased in recent years in China. Rapid and accurate laboratory examination is an important basis for the diagnosis of fungal infection. Microscopic examination, fungal culture and serologic test are the most commonly used methods in laboratory examination of fungi. Meanwhile, molecular biology detection technology is also developed. The most recent advances in fungal laboratory examination methods are review herein.
