Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to summarize the commonly used processing technologies for forage feed. We introduce the preparation methods for forage hay（natural drying,artificial drying,mechanical flattening and chemical drying methods） and processing technologies for forage blocks and forage particles. Meanwhile,we also analyze the influencing factors of forage product quality and compare the feeding effect of forage product prepared by different processing technologies,so as to provide references for the production,processing and application in animal production of forage feed.
