Determination and Comparison of Conventional Nutritional Components of Ten Commercially Available Lamb Complete Pelleted Diets

Abstract: The contents of conventional nutritional components of ten commercially available lamb complete pelleted diets most frequently sold in a city of northern Shaanxi were determined and statistically compared. The results showed that there were extremely significant differences in contents of crude protein, crude fiber, total energy, phosphorus, crude ash, crude fat, and moisture between the ten diets(P〈0.01), while no significant difference in content of calcium between the ten diets was observed(P〉0.05).
