Abstract: The expression of vasoactive intestinal peptide （VIP） in immune organ of uarthritis chicken was investigated to explore the action in the trial. The trial animals were individed into three groups, 20 chicken in every group. Immunohistochemistry was taken to detect the expression of VIP in thymus, spleen and bursa of Fabrieius, the difference also was anaylsed. The result indicated that there was no marked difference in VIP between group of high concentration calcium （HCC） and group of high protein （HP） （P 〉0.05 ）, but they were higher than that of the normal group. The conclusion could be made that the higher expression in VIP between HCC and HP, and it maybe is close to uarthritis with the interaction of immune system and neuroendocrine system mediated by VIP.
