Abstract: A total of 120 health rex rabbits with similar body weight and at the age of 50-60 d were randomly divided into four groups, group I(control group),group Ⅱ、Ⅲ and IV(treatment group). The rex rabbits in the group I were fed a common basal diet, and those in the group II,III and IV were fed diets containing 11%,22% and 33% Solidago canadensis L.,respectively.The results showed that the daily gain, feed intake and feed conversion ratio of rabbits in the treatment groups were not different from that of control group. The slaughter rate of rex rabbit in group III was higher than that in group II significantly(P0.05).The flesh color B in group II was 14.6 better than that in the control group significantly(P0.05).Other indicators were not significantly different between control group and the treatment groups. These indicated that the dosage of Solidago canadensis L.was 11%~33% and the best was 11%.
