Abstract: In order to test the relative preference of corn gluten meal(CGM) and fish meal to Macrobrachium rosenbergii, the method of touch-the-ball was used.In this experiment,CGM had three levels of 5%,10% and 15%,and the feed with fish meal replaced with such three levels of CGM was given to the tested fish for 30 d.The results showed that there was no significant difference in palatability and growth when fish meal was replaced with 5%,10% and 15% CGM added with the dissociation amino acid, but there was worse palatability and growth when fish meal was replaced with 5%,10% and 15% CGM without the dissociation amino acid.Best palatability and good growth were found in the group fed with diet with fish meal replaced by 5% CGM that was added with the dissociation amino acid. All the results indicated that CGM can replace about 18% of fish meal protein in the diet of Macrobrachium rosenbergii, which does not affect the growth of Macrobrachium rosenbergii.
