Abstract: The international and domestic research progress on forage transformation and integrated utilization of potato stem were reviewed and the industrialization situation of potato stem utilization in Inner Mongolia was introduced. The technical route of potato stem comprehensive utilization of ＇silage＋mixed crude extract＇, which was suitable for employment in semi-rurai and semi-pastoral areas of Inner Mongolia, was proposed in this paper. Furthermore, the comprehensive transformation and utilization industry of potato stem with high additional value in Inner Mongolia is prospected, so as to provide theoretical basis for the development of extraction and processing technology of potato stem bioactive substance with high additional value.
