Abstract: To meet the requirement of the new times society on talents′practical and applicative ability,the development of employment-oriented higher vocational education is the inevitable choice for cultivating practical typed and high-skilled typed talents in higher vocational colleges.The aims of the connotative development are to realize the sustainable development of education through training and providing qualified skilled talents for enterprises and institutions.This paper discusses the characteristics of education in high vocational colleges and the properties of connotative education development as well as its corresponding development measures.
