Abstract: In recent years, the bad growth vigor of Pinus bungeana planted in the botanical garden, square and parks in Baotou city was commonly observed and some of them even died gradually in individual year. Based on the comprehensive survey of the growth vigor of Pinus bungeana in Baotou city, the reasons caused the bad growth vigor and deaths of Pinus bungeana were analyzed and the protective measures were also proposed. This study may provide some foundation for the protection of Pinus Bungeana in Baotou.
