Control Effect of S-metolachlor on Annual Weeds in Sunflower Field

Abstract: Single factor randomized block design was used in order to study chemical control effect of S-metolachlor 96% EC on annual weeds in sunflower fields. 100-130ml/667m^2 of S-metolachlor 96% EC were applied to soil surface post-sowing and pre-emerge with 100ml/667m2 Acetochlor 50% EC was control, the results showed that 'after 45days, the control effect of S- metolaehlor 96% EC with 100-130ml/667m^2 on ammal weeds were from 75.1 to 84.9 percent, and the effect of S-metolachlor 96% EC with 130ml/667m^2 was higher than control. This treat was safety to the growth of sunflower.
