Research Progress on miRNA and Neoplastic Disease

摘要: miRNA(全称microRNA),是一类保守非编码单链RNA分子,其长度约22个核苷酸(nt),由约70 nt的前体miRNA(pre-miRNA)经Dicer酶剪切而来。miRNA虽然微小,但它在真核生物发育和基因表达中可以通过与靶mRNA形成完全或不完全互补配对引导沉默复合体降解mRNA或阻碍其翻译,从而发挥基因调控作用。miRNA在动物体发育、激素分泌、细胞分化、细胞增殖与死亡、肿瘤形成等各种过程中扮演着重要角色。综述了miRNA的功能及其与肿瘤的发生、发展、转移关系的研究进展。

Abstract: miRNA, with full name of microRNA, is a kind of conservative non-coding single-chain RNA molecular, and its length was about 22 nucleotides(nt). miRNA come from pre-miRNA of about 70 nt through Dicer enzyme cutting. miRNA is small, but it could combine with target mRNA and then form into complete or incomplete complementary condition to lead silencing complex to degrade mRNA or forbid its translation so as to play gene regulatory effect. miRNA plays an important role in animal growth,hormones secretion, cellular differentiation, cell proliferation and death, and carcinogenesis. The function of miRNA and correlation researches between miRNA and occurrence, development and transfering of tumour were reviewed.
